Alayna Rose is a painter, jewelry designer and illustrator. She was born in Wisconsin and has studied art throughout her life. Among her teachers and mentors were artists Gary Rosine, Kenn Kwint, and celebrated Wisconsin sculptor, Mary Nohl.
Alayna Rose’s fashion jewelry has been featured in exclusive boutiques from Hawaii to the East Coast. Her paintings and watercolors have been exhibited at the David Barnett Gallery, Art Post Gallery, Wisconsin Lutheran College, Mount Mary College and the Charles A Wustmum Museum of Fine Art. Rose’s paintings are a part of private collections throughout the country including Colorado, Florida and Washington D.C.
In 1987 she was featured as an outstanding new designer in Accessories Magazine. Her copper enameled designs have been exhibited at shows in New York City, Chicago and other major venues in the United States. From 1990-2007 she was Vice President of a design company that specialized in illustrations for patent applications, trademarks and technical art. Presently, Alayna Rose focuses on oil painting. Her influences include: De Kooning, Diebenkorn, Mitchell and Frankenthaler.
